Leader Sports Management was found by Quique de Lucas, current CEO and former professional football player in the Premier League / Ligue 1 and La Liga. ‘Throughout my career, I have experienced the up and downs of what it takes to be a professional footballer, I realized that at the time, what I was looking for did not meet my expectations’, said De Lucas, explaining that what motivated him to create Leader Sports Management was his intention to help players and coaches in the journey to success based on his own experiences. The company offers a 24/7 support network that understand the mental challenges and pressures that go with the job.
Quique de Lucas had a successful career in the world of football, playing for great teams in some of the best cities in the world, like Paris (playing for the PSG) and London (during his time in Chelsea FC). His time playing for some of the best teams in the world led him to set up Leader Sports Management, a ‘boutique like service’ specifically tailored for every player and coach they represent. ‘Our dynamic, analytical approach and my 18 years’ experience in the professional game allows us to ensure that we make the right career decision for our players’, CEO stands. ‘As the CEO, I am extremely proud of everyone that is part of this amazing family’, he concludes.
