A Recognition to Medical Professionals Across the Continent

The IV Edition of the European Awards in Medicine honored 22 clinics, doctors, surgeons, and medical professionals at the Ritz Hotel in Paris.

With Christmas lights illuminating Place Vendôme, the Ritz Hotel dazzled in the cold Parisian night on November 30th, becoming the epicenter of European medical excellence during the IV Edition of the European Awards in Medicine.

THE EVENT

The awardees arrived dressed in formal attire at the most iconic hotel on the continent, where they were welcomed by the Awards' management, inviting them to join a welcome cocktail. After the necessary introductions and posing for the photocall, awardees and guests engaged in proactive networking, allowing attendees to share anecdotes and exchange contacts. Following the cocktail, the organization guided participants to the Vendôme room, where the ceremony and subsequent gala dinner took place. The ceremony began with a musical performance resonating in the Ritz's majestic hall, creating the perfect atmosphere for the occasion. Antonio Queijeiro, the awards director, initiated the evening with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of innovation and commitment in the medical field. "May these awards propel you to continue with a renewed commitment to excellence and dedication in the noble field of medicine," said the director.

AWARD'S CEREMONY

The first part of the gala highlighted European diversity, with awardees hailing from countries such as Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Finland, Germany, Bosnia Herzegovina, Italy, and Portugal. After the first round of award presentations, the stage lit up with another captivating musical performance, setting the stage for the second part of the ceremony. Raquel Castro and Andrés López, responsible for presenting the gala, introduced the final round of awards, promising it to be just as exciting as the first. Spanish medical talent was well-represented at the event, with a total of 10 Spanish doctors, surgeons, and clinics receiving awards in this fourth edition.

SPEECHES

The highlights of the night were the acceptance speeches of the awardees, who shared their experiences and visions for the future of medicine. Subsequently, they headed to the press set for brief interviews, providing more details and expressing their excitement for receiving the award. The award ceremony concluded with the closing speech by Pablo Suñer, manager of the Professional and Business Excellence Institute, the organizing company of the event. Suñer emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating achievements in the medical field, underscoring the dedication of healthcare professionals throughout Europe: "Tonight, we celebrate not only advances in medical science but also the compassionate care and humanity that underlie the true greatness of our medical community," said Suñer. Tina Turner's 'The Best' played in the hall for all the awardees, closing the gala and making way for the dinner.
