Barbara Mutsaers
Barbara Mutsaers is a Dutch lawyer at AKD. She has been a lawyer with AKD for more than 12 years now and is specialised in commercial contracting and litigation, food law and life sciences.
She advises and litigates about the sector-specific legislation (regulatory), such as on market entry, food safety requirements, food additives, GMO, health claims, organic products, labelling, recalls, product liability, rules on inducements et cetera. She also provides companies with legal assistance in connection with complex issues such as drafting complicated commercial contracts, discussions with suppliers and customers, as well as with supervisory bodies such as the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ).
Her clients are national and international companies. They appreciate her involvement and drive.
