Dr Numa Isnard
Dr. Numa Isnard is an attorney-at-law based in Paris, France. He is a France and US trained attorney and has a global experience in space activities as well as in telecommunications, media and technology issues.
Dr. Numa Isnard began his career counseling telecommunications operators in France on public affairs and competition-related issues. He has also had in-house experience at one of the biggest national industry players. He was then trained as an attorney-at-law at Linklaters Paris office and helped clients in several regulated sectors. He also clerked at the Supreme Court of India, where he was particularly involved in sector-specific taxation and landmark privacy-related cases.
More recently, Dr. Numa Isnard has worked at a law firm based in Paris, where he has advised clients on various TMT matters, including telecommunication regulations and GDPR compliance, and managed a dedicated practice for space activities.
In 2021, he founded Spaceavocat, the very first law boutique entirely dedicated to Space Activities. This law firm has a global reach with clients located worldwide. Within its services, we can highlight corporate matters with special services for NewSpace companies, contracts negotiations and satellites procurement assistance, or regulatory issues such as launch authorizations and frequencies filings.
Spaceavocat advises various clients, such as legacy and NewSpace companies, public organizations and other institutional stakeholders.
Spaceavocat also contributes to the field of Space Law with ESA – European Center for Space Law (ECSL) membership, participation in major events such as the IAC, the Paris Space Week, NewSpace Europe…
