Multidisciplinary and affordable psychiatric care
Dr Ana Isabel Sanz García, medical director.
In 2002, a group of psychiatrists and psychologists, each with a solid background in private practice, joined forces to address a growing concern: the limitations in the care of mental health issues within the Community of Madrid. This effort culminated in the formation of the Ipsias Psychiatric Institute throughout 2003, consolidating in 2007 under its current name. Today, the Ipsias Psychiatric Institute stands as a pioneering institution, committed to providing accessible psychological and psychiatric services for all individuals, regardless of their economic situation.
Since its inception, the Ipsias Psychiatric Institute has operated under the firm conviction that psychiatric and psychological assistance and counselling should be accessible to everyone. The Institute's extensive opening hours and non-presential services allow great flexibility, adapting to the needs of each patient.
The centre offers a complete range of services focused on mental health, personal growth, and psychophysical and social well-being. Using a variety of techniques adapted to the specific needs of each individual, the professionals at Ipsias ensure personalised and effective care.
Their team comprises professionals from various disciplines and therapeutic schools, guaranteeing continuous coordination and effective problem-solving. The diversity in therapeutic methodologies allows finding the most suitable treatment for each person, according to their disorder and personality.
The Ipsias Psychiatric Institute is not only dedicated to treating mental illnesses but also to the prevention and improvement of individual and community health. Through awareness talks, personal growth workshops, counselling sessions, and outreach programs, the Institute actively works to reduce the stigma associated with mental disorders.
The Ipsias Psychiatric Institute offers counselling, information, and personalised diagnosis, providing holistic support during the treatment and recovery process. This comprehensive support aims to restore personal, work, social, and family harmony for each patient.
The medical direction of the centre is led by Dr Ana Isabel Sanz García, a medical specialist in Psychiatry with over 20 years of experience.
