A place to diagnose and treat your body pain or to simply make your body work better
Christophe Champs, founder
PODO was founded in 2016 by Christophe Champs, with the goal to change 100 lives every month at the PODO Clinic & Workshop. Simultaneously, sharing his passion, work and progress in Biomechanics and Orthotics online and in the press.
Looking at the entire body to assess your posture, biomechanics, and gait, PODO creates a treatment plan that fits into your lifestyle and all your shoes.
PODO Orthotics have been incorporated into many athletes’ shoes. Winning multiple medals at the Olympic and Commonwealth games, the Giro of Italia in 2020, and breaking the world hour record in track cycling in 2022.
Custom and asymmetrical, those orthotics are moulded directly onto patients’ feet and handcrafted in front of them, ready to wear at the end of a single 90-minute appointment.
This personal and immersive process allows patients to truly understand what their problems really are, identify and isolate the root causes, and find out what they can expect from a conservative approach - without the use of a blade or a needle.
“The PODO orthotics are made for your feet and work from the ground up.” Says Christophe Champs
Providing support to the entire body, PODO aims to prevent injuries and uneven wear and tear within the ankle, knee, hip, and facet joints of the spine while reducing unnecessary muscles fatigue associated with misalignment.
This year, PODO aims to tackle from the ground up the outbreak of knee injuries in women football.
To achieve this, a Mobile Clinic & Workshop will be launched on the 1st of January 2024, operating with the same high standards within clubs in the UK and around the world.
